KEIM Universal Render is a pre-bagged mineral render which is extremely flexible, versatile and easy to apply.
KEIM Universal Render offers an outstanding alternative to hydraulic lime by providing the main features of NHL (Natural Hydraulic Lime) with simple application similar to a conventional sand/cement render. KEIM Universal Render is also an excellent →alternative to through-coloured renders.
Applied by trowel or machine, KEIM Universal Render incorporates a glassfibre reinforcing mesh which gives flexibility and negates the need for expansion joints (save where they are engineered into the building). KEIM Universal Render can be sponge floated smooth, or applied with a textured finish.
- Simple, reliable and economic
- Outstanding flexibility – No need for expansion joints (except where engineered into the building)
- Ideal for renovation and preservation of historic monuments and listed buildings
- Ideal for both the construction of new buildings and restoration/redevelopment
- Suitable for use on mineral and organic substrates including glazed tiles, rubble stone, brickwork, concrete, timber, various insulation boards and marine ply
- High breathability/moisture vapour permeability – KEIM Universal Render = μ = 8.4, NHL (Natural Hydraulic Lime)= μ= 10 )
- Ideal for concealing cracks, flaking and differences in texture
- Can be applied onto existing sound renders without the need to hack off
- Usable in any application without priming
- Easily applied and machine processed
